Privacy

Text diff, the Base64 encoder and decoder, and the bitwise flag decoder process inputs and results in your browser. The application does not send them to a server, save them in browser storage, or include them in URLs.

Browser storage and clipboard

The site stores your theme preference under datatransform-theme in local storage. The value is light or dark. You can remove it by clearing this site's browser storage.

The Paste buttons read the clipboard only after you select them. The Base64 tool reads files only when you choose or drop a file, and writes to the clipboard only when you select Copy. The bitwise flag decoder reads configuration files only when you select a file, saves JSON only when you select Download configuration, and copies results only when you select Copy result. Pasted rows and flag names stay in memory until you leave or reload the page. Your browser may require permission. Browser features or extensions may separately retain or process form input; the application does not control those features.

Hosting and analytics

Deployed versions of this site are hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives ordinary request information, such as your IP address and the requested path, to deliver the site. Tool inputs and comparison results are not included in those requests. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its data handling.

On datatransform.dev, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits and loading performance. Cloudflare adds its analytics script to pages served on this domain. It reports page and browser information and performance timings. Tool inputs, selected files, clipboard contents and results are not sent to analytics. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details.

Advertising is not enabled. Prepared tool-event hooks remain within the page; they have no collection destination.
